I found someone translating my reviews at n2rac.com (hosted by Medium) and placing their own ads. Granted they are fellow amateur radio enthusiasts, at least from their domain name (N2RAC is my FCC licensed call sign, and they also use a similar format). But the idea is the same. It’s easier to get away with plagiarism if it’s translated in another language.

I’m hoping Medium is looking into the long game here, and not looking to exit or cash out on the content that writers have built. And I’m hoping the business model is sustainable, unlike many content-based startups before that banked on SEO-driven revenues to succeed.
