I recall how a scambaiter once hacked into the network of a scammer's office, gaining access to their CCTV system and tracking down identities through social media. I believe he was able to report it to the authorities in the scammers' jurisdiction.

It's surprising how the scammers even have a call center-like setup, complete with open office layout, computers, phones, desks--the works.
